DEMOCRATIC BOOKS 10/2009
Tamara and Dirk from Designwork have finally published two new democratic books. The idea of their project is enabling everybody to download, print and fold a little photobook. With now over 30 publications they have created an impressing library of contemporary photography.
Democratic book #31 is an altered version of my 2008 artist book STUDIO LEZMI. It shows photo-studios I found on my ways through Turkey, Syria and Lebanon. Every time I saw a studio I went in and asked for a portrait... Have a look and start printing!
