03/2011 - Group Exhibition - FORMAT Festival, Derby I will be showing my Beyond Borders series as 'book on the wall' on this years Format Festival in Derby, UK.
QUAD Gallery will present an extensive survey show,
curated by Louise Clements, exploring the festival’s
central theme - Right Here, Right Now.
The exhibition will showcase over 20 photographers
from around the world:
Amy Stein, Brian Griffin, Bruno Quinquet, Frederic Lezmi,
George Georgiou, Giacomo Brunelli, Jeff Mermelstein,
Joel Meyerowitz, June Abe, Martin Kollar, Michael Wolf,
Nate Larson and Marni Schindelman, Orville Robertson,
Peter Dench, Polly Braden, Raghu Rai, Raoul Gatepin,
Vivian Maier, WassinkLundgren, Will Sanders, Zhao Liang
There will also be a big Magnum street photography show,
a commissioned exhibition by Bruce Gilden and Lectures
by Joel Meyerowitz, Richard Kavlar and Chris Steele Perkins
Portfolio reviews, workshops, artist talks and a lot more
exhibitions round up the program
Format festival is running from 4th March to 3rd April.
The opening festivities and most of the events are
from the 3rd to the 6th of March.
The show in Quad Gallery will be going till 8th of May.
